Your Health Optimisation Plan

Your Health Optimisation Plan translates the nutrition science and strategy we discussed in your consultation, into bespoke, achievable targets for you to follow until our next appointment. This includes:

  • A summary of the evidence-based strategy we are using to achieve your health goal. We will have discussed this in your consultation, but it is a useful reminder of why you want to make nutrition and lifestyle changes. I include supplementary information to help you understand the science behind the strategy.

  • Three or four simple, realistic nutritional changes that are in line with our strategy and move you towards your health goal. These will be derived from the most up-to-date nutrition science, not the latest social media fad. You will feel confident and positive about managing these changes as we will have created them together in your consultation to ensure they fit with your lifestyle.

  • One or two lifestyle changes also based on the most recent research. These changes will also be achievable whilst supporting our evidence-based strategy.

  • You will receive supplementary information to help you achieve these goals as easily as possible. For example, infographics for your fridge or suppliers of recommended products. I aim to make any changes as easy for you to implement as possible.

  • We may have discussed GP or functional testing within the consultation if appropriate for you. If so, these will be explained with instructions on how to arrange them.

​

  • We may also have discussed supplements that may be beneficial. Although I adopt a "food first" approach, on occasion it may be worth considering therapeutic, premium quality supplements to help you achieve your health goals. The reasoning behind any supplements will be discussed in your consultation and explained in your Health Optimisation Plan, along with instructions for purchase, use and discount codes where possible.

  • Finally, an overview of what we will discuss in the following consultation with your appointment date.
